SCHOLARSHIPS
Are you:
  • Attending an accredited educational institution in the Fall of 2010?
  • An immediate family member of a currently certified Idaho Peace Officer, honorably retired Idaho Peace Officer, or permanently disabled Idaho Peace Officer?
  • An immediate family member of an Idaho Peace Officer killed in the line of duty?

If so, You are Eligible for an Idaho Peace Officers’ Memorial Fund Scholarship!

Officer Award:
Recipient must be an immediate family member of a currently certified Idaho Peace Officer or honorable retired Idaho Peace Officer. The officer must have served continuously for a minimum period of five years. (Immediate = spouse or dependent child.) The Memorial Scholarship committee will review and approve up to four awards, each year, in the amount of $500.  This award is not renewable.

Hero Award:
Recipient must be an immediate family member of a an Idaho Peace Officer killed in the line of duty and recognized for inclusion on the Idaho Peace Officer Memorial or an immediate family member of a permanently disabled officer. (Immediate = spouse or dependent child.) The number of awards given will be at the Board of Director's discretion, and each award is in the amount of $2000.00. This award is renewable up to four years.

Both awards can be used for books, tuition, and any other qualified expenses while attending an eligible educational institution.  The scholarship recipient must plan on attending the fall of the year the award is given.
