U. S. Marshal George Meffan and Deputy John H. Glenn were killed by Pearl R. Hendrickson. Marshal Meffan was shot in the head as he sat at the wheel of his automobile when he drove up to Hendrickson’s cabin. Hendrickson was killed when a Posse stormed the cabin with automatic weapons and dynamite.
