In Memory of Trooper Linda Huff...
CRIMSON BLUE
They will stand alone and face the black night,
with soldier courage and a silver shield
centurions sworn, their lives on the line,
to keep the peace as our fathers have willed.
Peace comes truly with the greatest of price,
our best shall lead and our strongest shall stand,
not from evil turn, for justice they fight,
so is the honored blue of this great land.
Play yards and homes where safety is sought,
her love and child waiting, prayers bring her home,
little time for her own, as she stands watch,
still deep into the dark she walks alone.
Officer down, calls her brother in blue,
covers his sister with his heart and soul,
yet evil of this night has pierced her through,
sister in blue, do not leave do not go.
There lies our strength in the cold of the light,
our peacekeeper's blood, from where her soul flew
stained red within the blue, now Crimson Blue.

REMEMBER
Remember all the fallen men,who gave their lives for you.
Remember all the sweating, all the work they had to do.
Remember all the blood they spilled, all the crying and the pain.
Remember all the late nights,in the snow and in the rain.
Remember how they kept the peace,in good times and in bad.
Remember they protected you,and given all they had.
Remember times are changing and people are changing too.
Remember all the fallen men and that they died for you.
