Deputy John H. Glenn was killed by Pearl R. Hendrickson, who was wanted on a warrant for contempt of court. Deputy Glenn was shot twice through the upper body as he was talking with Hendrickson at the door of his cabin. U.S. Marshal George Meffan was also killed by Hendrickson. Hendrickson was killed when a Posse stormed the cabin with automatic weapons and dynamite.
